No kopīgiem pasākumiem uz savstarpējo saprašanos

On October 18, 2018, the delegation from the State Pedagogical University of Taraz (Kazakhstan) stayed at our school to study the educational system of Latvia and the possibility of implementing CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) in Kazakh schools.

Nazym Duysenova (Head of the Center for IT and International Relations) and Aydana Akhmetova (Head of the IT and Innovative Technologies in Education Sector) learned about the bilingual, multilingual training programs at our school. Discussion about the forms and methods of organizing CLIL classes, about the criteria for the selection of teachers to implement CLIL, about CLIL teachers’ qualification was organised.  We also discussed the problems teachers and students face in the process of studying integrated subjects. Mathematics teacher Marina Vasina, English teacher Alyona Novozhilova shared their experience and held demonstration lessons in 8.A and 6.B classes.  All participants were satisfied with the results of the meeting and are full of hopes for the further development of relations to implement joint projects in the future.
