From 21st until 23rd of March eTwinning seminar “Coding and Computational Thinking” took place in Oslo, Norway.
Teachers from ten different countries participated in it. From Latvia there were four teachers including teacher from our school – Elina Neilande.
During this seminar, teachers were introduced with different technologies that come into school life. For instance, 3D modeling and printing, 2D modeling; as well as construct useless robots on micro:Bit micro-controller base and make a model of a device that solve an ecological issue.
After this seminar, 17 successful eTwinning projects were made. eTwinning projects allow students to collaborate all over the world without leaving their home country. They expand the horizons of both – students and teachers. Now, projects connected to the technologies gain their popularity. This seminar was dedicated to this type of projects.
