PIE – Pathways In Europe is an Erasmus+ international educational project which had its final mobility in 2016. /2017. The project’s aim was to aid students to make their career choices, to research job market, to develop management and marketing skills. Students and teachers from seven European states (UK – Northern Ireland, Germany, France, Poland, Denmark, Spain, and Latvia) held their regular meetings in different countries in order to implement the projects aims and ideas. This year the students travelled to St Patrick’s College, Maghera, Northern Ireland. They worked on their IT skills development, participated in real-life business game, where they had to write a business plan, create a product, present it to a jury of experts to win investments. There were 9 participants in the Riga Secondary School 34 team this year, forms 11 and 12. The project’s activities attracted more than 60 students of different age groups all in all. Not only did the project help our students to make their career choices, but also it introduced them to the multicultural and multilingual European Youth community.
