Grow Green Generation

From April, 30  till  May,5  Cantabria hosted  a meeting of the participants of  the “Grow Green Generation” project, representatives from Latvia, Italy and Spain. Project coordinators from Latvia are Galina Zaremba and Maria Perlova, English language teachers.

Nine-grade students presented the logo of our country and PPP  “7R. Recycle. Renew. Reuse. Regift. Repair. Reduce. Rethink.” All materials can be viewed on etwinning.net (https://live.etwinning.net/groups).

The students studied the Internet resources and literature about impact of humankind on the environment, as well as ecological connections between  people and nature.

A meeting with the mayor of Cabezon de la Sal was held during the project.

Moreover, two enterprises in Santander producing ecologically friendly goods were visited. During all these events environmental issues were discussed.

All the participants spoke about the significance of the project “Grow Green Generation.”
